Instructions

Important instructions to candidates
- This is a mock test that works like the real exam console.
- Candidates appearing for Marathi typing should have the Marathi Remington GAIL keyboard layout. No ISM software is needed here: type with the English (US) keyboard.
- Candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions given, in order to avoid disqualification, errors and loss of time. After reading the instructions carefully, click on the check box to proceed.
- The test has five parts: Keyboard Test (5 minutes), Break (5 minutes), Mock Test (10 minutes), Break (2 minutes) and the Main Test (10 minutes). Only the Main Test is scored.
Don’ts
- Don’t use any other key or key combination apart from those required to type the given text.
- Don’t enter any special character/symbol other than those in the provided text. (This could skip words, lead to typing errors and be evaluated as a typing mistake.)
- Don’t toggle between language and keyboard inputs for any reason.
- Don’t leave or minimise this window. Doing so ends the test, as in the real exam.
- Don’t press any key once the test is submitted and the summary is displayed.
Break
Take a break and relax.
Let your fingers rest and stretch them if needed.
Do not close or leave this window, as doing so will end the exam.
Use this time to refresh yourself for the next part. It starts automatically when the time runs out.
