CPCT Typing Test (English and Hindi)
Free mock tests for the typing part of CPCT, the Computer Proficiency Certification Test of the Madhya Pradesh government: 15 minutes of English typing and 15 minutes of Hindi typing, with net speed worked out at the end.

CPCT turns your net speed into a percentage score on the score card; the qualifying speeds are the minimums.
How net speed is worked out
- Errors are counted word by word: every wrong, misspelt or left-out word is one error.
- Net speed = (words typed − error words) ÷ 15 minutes.
- Backspace is allowed, so you can correct mistakes. Speed and errors are not shown while you type.
- Hindi in CPCT is typed in Unicode (Mangal) on the Remington GAIL or InScript layout, chosen when you apply.

Start test About CPCT
- 1. CPCT (Computer Proficiency Certification Test) is run for the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Its score is asked for in many state government jobs that involve computer work.
- 2. The exam has an objective section and two typing sections: English typing (15 minutes) and Hindi typing (15 minutes).
- 3. The minimum typing speed is 30 net words per minute in English and 20 net words per minute in Hindi.
- 4. In these mock tests Hindi is typed on the Remington layout, shown in the Kruti Dev font, so no software is needed. To practise the InScript or Remington GAIL keyboard in Unicode, use the Hindi lessons.
